Book Country first appeared on a poster for the literary event which occurs annually in New York City and was inspired by the delightfully naive lettering of Ben Shahn.

The OpenType font contains the glyphs shown, including a lower case, small caps and a feature that maintains a gently undulating baseline even when characters repeat, is compatible with Mac and Windows platforms and available for purchase and download here.
